Repeating Difficult Sections

Use this workflow whenever a section keeps breaking.

The Small Loop Method

1. Make the phrase smaller than feels necessary.
2. Slow it down.
3. Loop it until you can repeat it correctly.
4. Turn looping off and play one clean rep.
5. Add the lead-in.
6. Add the exit.
7. Return to full speed.

When To Stop Looping

Stop looping when the section works three times in a row. Then widen the phrase to check what comes afterward.

When To Split The Phrase

Split the phrase if:

• you keep failing in the same place
• you are waiting through audio that is already easy
• the loop is long enough that you lose focus before it repeats
