Preparing Phrases Before Rehearsal

The best time to create phrases is before rehearsal, not while everyone waits.

Prep Checklist

1. Upload the songs you will need.
2. Put them in folders that match the rehearsal plan.
3. Save phrases for known problem spots.
4. Name phrases by the rehearsal task.
5. Open the library on the rehearsal device.
6. Check that the songs and phrases load.

Name For The Room

Use names people will understand when called out loud:

• Chorus entrance
• Lift count
• Tenor pickup
• Line before blackout

Keep A Backup Path

If rehearsal depends on the material, keep the original audio available on the device too. Pro saves setup time, but rehearsal should not depend on one perfect network moment.
